Hi all

I don't know much about this - hope someone can help.

I sent an email to someone (not a regular correspondent, but not the first
I'd sent either) and got a reply which said:

> Hi Neil
>
> Thanks for your message. Thought I should tell you that my virus checker
> thought it was infected. Still, it let me read it which was nice.

I had a look at the email I'd sent (viewed source) and it's just a plain
text email with no attachments - how can this be infected by a virus?

Would this be likely to be:

 - a false warning from their virus checker
 - a virus being added by my email program during the sending procedure
 - a virus being picked up en-route (Bigpond etc)
 - some other virus problem

Like I say, I don't know anything about viruses or their propagation, but
I'd hate to think I was unwittingly spreading doom & destruction!

Set-up:
Ti powerbook 400 Mhz running OS 9.1
Outlook Express Version 5.02

TIA

Neil
