Hiya,
A friend of mine is moving overseas and wishes to buy a new PC
notebook to take with her. Her budget is around the $2000 mark,
although she'd love to spend less if possible.
Intended use: general personal use - storing digital photos, sending
email, web browsing, etc. Nothing real fancy. Must have an internal
CD burner.
An important requirement: international warranty coverage, as she
will be travelling throughout Europe.
She's not a computer expert at all, hence she will buy one here
before leaving so that she can have a friend of hers set it up for
and and transfer her stuff from her old notebook.
If anyone's got any suggestions or advice on what to buy, it would be
extremely appreciated! She leaves in a few days and is starting to
get a leeeeeeeeeeeedle bit stressed about it all.
