It's 3 months since my 78 year old father-in-law signed up with Big Pond adsl. His connection is not up and running yet, but his dial-up subscription with another isp has been cancelled all that time.
It's not like he lives in the sticks: he lives in Mt Pleasant. He's about to follow my advice which was to take note of the lack of service and ditch Big Pond. Michael.
