My laptop and Mac don't talk to each other, yet, and I had an iPod
before the Mac. I used CD's and burn't the whole library to transfer
the AAC files. 12 in all. Now I could use a couple of DVD's to transfer
the other way. iTunes will manage it for you, just keep feeding them
in. I'm sure there's probably a better way, but you also get a back up
of the Library at the same time.
I just checked it for my current library (30gig) but had to create a
playlist to get the Burn icon instead of Browse. Don't do this all at
once or you might cause the beechball to spin forever. You could do it
by artist or something like that.
