But no joy. I have followed the instructions outlined by Ronni, above, and reinstalled Safari 2, with no success, then trashed it and its preferences etc and reinstalled but still no success. It attempts to start but crashes. I must have some conflict but I have turned everything else off without success. IE still works so I guess I will have to do with that or do an Erase and Install. Yuk. Lloyd
