If you were double the RAM on the eMac from 256MB to 512MB, you'd be looking at least $100 anyway, and if the older eMac doesn't come with Tiger, there's another $199. So the new model is certainly excellent value, consider the better graphics card (which Tiger loves) and bigger hard drive as well. So it's still a good price to get something with a SuperDrive,....but depends if you want the "other fruit". :o) (And budget of course). I hope that helps. Drop me an email if you want more info.
