Before erasing my hard disk and installing OS 10.4 I backed up my iTunes library. I was using Itunes 4.7 from iLife 05. I also had these songs transferred to my iPod.
Since installing Tiger I cannot import my previous library from the back-up as the songs are greyed out and will not be recognised. When I connect the iPod the songs appear in iTunes in the iPod folder but are all greyed out. It appears I cannot import from the iPod nor from my back-up copy. Is there a way of overcoming this?
