Hi Reuben, Like others who commented, when I bought my G5 some years back I had the intention of buying a 'cheap' LCD monitor. But having used the 'cheaper' ones at the salt mine, and comparing the quality of Apple's monitor to the others I could not resist buying an Apple monitor. I also found that the difference in price between Apple's and other good quality monitors was minimal, hence the incentive to stay with Apple. After close to 2 1/2 years of use I just do not regret having bought the monitor. Regards to all. Philippe -- We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.
