Hi Guys,

I have my HD partitioned in 3 (System, Scratch and Documents). I've recently upgraded to Panther 10.3.6 from OS 9.2 and I keep getting a 'Startup Disk is almost full' warning. (I have 0S 9 on the 'system' partition and Panther on 'Scratch' partition) I really can't see the benefit in having my HD partitioned in 3 any longer and restoring to 1 primary disk would eliminate this 'disk full warning'. Can anyone suggest how to repartition the HD back to 1 primary HD AND/OR suggest a good argument for keeping it the way it is, apart from retaining 0S9 to run old apps.

In my experience if you've got one partition and it fills up (usually with swap files), your apps will start grinding to a stop and start corrupting their prefs (and if you're unlucky, data) files.

Have fun,
Shay (Too much disk space is never enough...)
