Hi Guys,

I have my HD partitioned in 3 (System, Scratch and Documents). I've recently upgraded to Panther 10.3.6 from OS 9.2 and I keep getting a 'Startup Disk is almost full' warning. (I have 0S 9 on the 'system' partition and Panther on 'Scratch' partition) I really can't see the benefit in having my HD partitioned in 3 any longer and restoring to 1 primary disk would eliminate this 'disk full warning'. Can anyone suggest how to repartition the HD back to 1 primary HD AND/OR suggest a good argument for keeping it the way it is,

apart from retaining 0S9 to run old apps.

IF.... you wish to run your old apps separately in OS9 rather than in Classic OS9
you may want to keep OS9 on a separate partition.

It possibly depends on what Apps you are using. Some run OK in Classic, but
others are abbreviated by the Classic setup and do not do so well.
I was dealing with a Printer a while ago that was OK in boot OS9
but would not print from Classic 9.

OSX tends to de-bless OS9 when they are on the same partition which can
make it more difficult to quit OSX to boot from OS9.

Assuming that you have a Mac that does boot from OS9 of course.

Have fun

Bob

Superduper will shift your files around for OSX and also OS9.

Any help appreciated.
