Dear WAMUG'ers, Well, our very own John starred on the documentary '10 days to victory' last night! A great show and a very, very cool John Currie. Wonder how you managed to be so calm John?
Congratulations John, and lets hope you do get a nomination .... This documentary was just brilliant but reminded me of an uncle of mine who died on his last sortie over Germany, in fact when coming back from bombing Berlin. He was piloting a Lancaster and was looking forward to his leave after an arduous and dangerous shift. John would know much about this.
