I am one of those technology-challenged people who just have to accept the views on good, bad, ease and difficulty of this whole transition thing and hope that all will be Ok in the end.

However I do have experience in the area of fraud and big business [same thing in many respects] and what does concern me is that everybody is relying on apparent absolute guarantees from a number of American big business heavyweights that the transition will be seamless and that Microsoft et al will continue to support the Mac. Given the track record of recent years of American business rorts, how much trust can we have in the commitments given for this deal? Microsoft - nuff said. Apple - remember the fuss over the mac.com email address for free for life? I don't know about Adobe, Intel, etc but I remain sceptical.

Nothing I can do about it I know.

Just my 2c.
