Re video hardware, do be aware that the iBooks come with lower end video
hardware than the PowerBooks. I'd check to make sure it's even better
than what your current one came with (though I sure hope it is).
yep some improvement over the old 800Mhz G3 ones but not stunningly so
still only 32MB but:
G4's 9200 Radeon AGP 4 vs' G3's 7200 AGP 2
remember also that on both these cards you can run a 3rd party flash
to allow extended desktop on the external monitor - this was the
first thing I did to mine after I finished the standard setup and
transfer user data.
