Batch color profile converstion (Adobe RGB vs sRGB)

Hey all,

Just wondering if any creative pros have a clue on this one. I shoot  
regularly in Adobe RGB. Taking those images unprocessed to a typical  
pharmacy style photo lab resulted in some terrible results.  
Converting the images to sRGB helped quite a bit but it's a tedious  
process.

Does anyone know how I can batch convert color profiles. Photoshop  
has an Automator action which will assign a colour profile to an  
image but not convert (a process which seems to be more appropriate  
in this case).

Any cluues?
