My first though is that your CD is a tad older than the laptop, so it is
not capable of booting the hardware adequately. You will probably need a
revised copy of the DiskWarrior disk (if you want to be able to boot the
laptop with the CD in future). I have found that Alsoft only distributes
these new startup disks as physical CDs (i.e., with a shipping fee)
because they are not licensed to offer the startup disks via the
Internet.
