Dear WAMUG'ers, Calling on you again for some advice.
Using a G5 1.8Ghz running 10.3.9, and I have tried on 4 occasions now to download the latest update for iTunes but keep getting the error message from Software update: 'The update 'iTunes' could not be verified and expanded correctly. Make sure you have the permission to write to ..../library/Packages ' I made sure I had run Repair Permissions a couple of times, checked from 'Get Info' that I have read/write permissions, which it says I have, but to no luck. Using a dial-up system, I'm getting quite frustrated. Any idea what is getting on? Software Update was set, on all occasions, to download only. I have done many updates in the past, always setting Software Update to download only, and did not encounter any problem. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Philippe
