It seems that Sony want to retire from the innovation business

the convenience that the rest of the lucky countries have had!

Japan experience .... how many artists will Sony Australia need to
lose before they put pen to paper?
(in Japan a large amount of smaller sales volume artists (and a few
not so small sales artists) declared Sony was flagrantly and
deliberately breaching their contracts with the artists in that they
were not perusing reasonable sales opportunities for their songs
and threatened (and some did actually) signed on to other
labels/distributors.
