Hi Peter,
that was a good idea to create a dummy account. I did it but the

Hi all,
this has happened before. Software update suggests updating security
patches etc. After the update and restart Safari quits and refuses to
work. Last time I needed to do a Java update to cure it. This time no
luck. Any suggestions?
OS X 10.3.9
Safari 1.3.1
Standard Operating Procedure: create a dummy account and see if it
works there. If so, it's something in your user account: most likely a
rogue preference file.
