Could someone explain to me how to open .NEF files in CS 2 . I was
under the impression that PS would open them in Adobe Camera Raw but
this is not happening for me. Any thoughts.

Clive, I use Bibblelite

Works a treat if all you want to do is de-code and generate TIFF
files. I use some of my output for magazine work and I have had no
trouble.
