Hi Nathalie

A really good program is called iPodRip, which does exactly what you want.
It lets you take the songs from your iPod (which are indeed locked away in a
tiny invisible vault (Ok, not really,..but sort of) and move them into your
iTunes library.
It's shareware so should work for what you want, and very easy to use.
