Make sure you don't get the JVC Everio(?) It's a nightmare to import
anything into iMovie (it just doesn't). Also it doesn't have firewire
(which would explain the import problem). Had to use some programme
that sounded like FFDeMux to convert the files after we (very slowly)
imported them in.
Even Pogue gave them a bad write up in the New York Times.
My Sony works fine. Firewire rocks.
