Which slide show do you mean? In iPhoto 5 it's File > New Slideshow >
Settings button.
In Finder (Tiger only) there is no easy way to change the settings.
There are probably some .plist entries to be made somewhere, but I'm
not aware of them. The Macosxhints site (http://www.macosxhints.com/)
might be a good place to start.
Any other slide show will have its own way of doing things, so you'll
have explore its relevant online help.
