You could look at the Elgato Eyehome.

Plug one end into the ethernet and the other end into your TV & amp and
using the remote control you can play all the digital content stored on your
Mac, including if you RIP to the hard drive, your frequently watched DVD's.
I recently set one for a client (easy) and it works dandy. The Eyehome finds
your Mac via Rendezvous and displays the contents of your music, pictures &
movie folders on your TV. You use the remote to select what you want to play
and voila. It has standard RCA outs so you can plug the video into your TV
and the audio into an amp. Works with Airport Express if you don't have
ethernet near your TV.
