Perhaps I have a similar experience as you, then. On further examination, all Adobe Creatuve Suite apps *fail* to show previews in one way or another (either by showing generic icons or not showing any type of preview). So far this only seems to affect PDF files. Nevertheless, all other apps (that I've tested) *do show* previews. So, it looks like be something spceific between Adobe and Tiger.
