Micro$oft have stopped development on Windows Media Player for the
Mac, according to this article:

Instead, users are re-directed to a freeware version of Flip4Mac.
All I can say is... What A Relief!
As far as I could see, M$ had to either improve the darn thing out of
all sight, or kill it completely. I think death was the kinder
option. Flip4Mac is a fantastic alternative, especially if you have
Quicktime Pro.
