I need help. My problem is not particularly technical as many that I read on this site. I have Railroad Tycoon 3 and am or was happily back in my childhood with trains running everywhere until a problem arose. My computer crashes when i play. It never crashes with any other program, just railroad Tycoon 3. I have an e-Mac with over 700 mbs of ROM, and I have OS X 4.4 which is far in excess of the system requirements. What happens is the computer freezes and I can't use Force Quit to escape. When I restart the machine and try to reboot, all I get is the dreaded blue screen and I have to re-install OS X.4.4. I guess the best solution is not to try and play Railroad Tycoon, but I really enjoy it. Is there anything I can do rather than have to re-install OS X.4.4 everytime it freezes. Hmmmmm ! The only data i have been able to find on Railroad Tycoon 3 is for Windows .

Have not seen a link for a Mac version.

What is it that you have , and what does it say about system requirements ?

Bob

Answering my own questions :

Ok ! Now I see there is a Mac version with links from Apple .

and this is listed and supplied from MACSOFT
anyway here
<http://www.macsoftgames.com/products/RRT3/RRT3.html>

System Requirements: Macintosh computer running OSX v10.2.8 or higher, 400MHz or faster processor, 256MB RAM, 32MB or higher (NVIDIA GeForce 2/ATI Radeon recommended) video card, 1.2GB free hard drive space, 8X CD-ROM drive, local area network, with TCP/IP protocol or established internet connection for multiplayer (56 Kbps modem or faster required).

So , Ken , have you had it running on a different Mac , or on this Mac with an older version of software ?

Some software that runs on 10.2 and /or 10.3
does not necessarily run on 10.4, or if it does , it may not on 10.4.4

So Brunswick Junction is still there ! I first saw it when I drove through in 1953 ! Ouchj ! That was a while ago !
