G'day listers,
I have installed Indesign 2.0 on a new Intel iMac and it performs
normally in the admin account.
But when I am in a user account, strange things happen.
I can launch Indesign by double clicking an Indesign document and it
works fine, but I can't launch it from its application icon because
the application icon in Get Info is a Filemaker Pro document and
Filemaker Pro is launched instead.
But in the admin account, it is a normal PowerPC app.
And when I tried to reinstall, I found that the Install Adobe
Indesign 2.0 icon on the CD is also a Filemaker Pro document if I am
in a user account. The Acrobat Reader Installer icon on the same CD
is normal.
And when I am back in the admin account, the Install Adobe Indesign
2.0 icon on the CD is back to normal.
Weird - does anyone who knows about these things pick up any logical
explanation here?
