My version of Mail is Version 2.0.7 (746.2), running Tiger 10.4.5.

My preferences look exactly like this screen dump, except that it says 'right away' instead of 'After one week.'

If the problem continues, I will change to one of the other options to see if it makes any difference.

Cheers, and thanks,
     Pat

I spoke to iiNet support and then checked my webmail, which I hadn't done before. There were 2800 messages there. I have always had the preferences in Mail set to delete messages from the server right away when downloaded. So why wasn't this done?

So which version of Mail are you using ? ( Running Panther 10.3.9 )

You can change the time period like below

Does this help ?

Bob

Has anyone else had a problem with this?

I'm not sure if every e-mail ever sent to this address was there - it looked more like a rather random selection of some. Changing pages on the iiNet web site was going slower than a crawl, so I just flushed the entire lot. I suppose I will just have to periodically check web mail to see what is going on.

Thanks very much for the suggestions.
