iMac (table lamp), OS X 10.2.8, usb printer attached, ADSL router
attached with ethernet cable
Performa 6400, OS 9.1, ADSL router shared with iMac and attached via
an ethernet cable.
Web access is through TCP/IP with configure DHCP
File sharing is through AppleTalk via ethernet
Apple's help on the iMac and the Performa advised to use USB Printer
Sharing from their respective Control panels (Classic's System for
the iMac). However, no success. Looking at Trouble shooting on the
OS 9.1 machine, the advise is that printer sharing will not work over
an AppleTalk network!!
My file sharing is through AppleTalk via ethernet. Is there a work-around?
