Paul, The Apple Store is run by Apple as a complete separate entity in competition to the AppleCentres and resellers (fancy that!). Apparently they can get away with showing 3-5 days delivery on products even if they aren't delivered in that time frame. We've lost customers to the Apple Store in the past that have found out later that 3-5 days can mean 3-5 weeks if the Apple Store don't have stock. With regard to the MacBook Pro, some supply of them came in late February and have been distributed. We received some and they have gone. There were many backorders. Both models have limited shipping with some arriving today in Sydney, so even if you ordered from the Apple store it would be a week or so away.
