My Epson Stylus C61 has started playing up!
It has been playing this little game on and off over the past few
weeks and Clean Heads has solved the matter.
The game:
In addition to printing what is required it adds black horizontal lines.
In the Test Nozzle check three lines occur spaced at about 1 cm.
If I set up similar set of four coloured squares in AppleWorks and
click on medium quality and print, the result is about eight black
lines space at about 0.5 cm. Higher resolutions give a more dense
distribution.
I have done the cycle of three "Clean Heads", Confirmed, but with no success.
Turning the machine off for two hours to allow correct parking of the
heads and then trying again has not been successful.
Is it time to go to a Printer Doctor, buy a new printer, or am I
overlooking something?
Advice please.
