That kind of blanket headline without substance is pretty much the new way of spin-management-via-press-release that big corporations indulge in all over the mainstream media these days.

Nobody's said the obvious; Apple just released commercials stating as clear as anything that OS X machines don't get infected by network-transmissable bad code, and that Windows machines do. Apple is so much better at advertising/spinning than their competitors. They don't say anything they can be pinned down on - as some few with hardware problems can attest to :-) The ads say what is absolutely true, irrefutable in a clean fact vs fact examination.


No wonder the spinners are manning the pumps - if the metaphor isn't too mixed.
