howdy,
occasionally, particularly when using fast user switcher to go to an
different user account, the message dialogue box appears which says
( Big STOP SIGN) "No response from the scanner
Make sure the scanner is on and properly connected
If using a SCSI connection, restart your computer"
located in upper 1/3 of screen above every thing else
clicking OK does not get rid of this box
having this dialogue box on screen is very annoying,
scanner not responding is also annoying
scanner does net get connected in image capture with its Browse
device ( even though it shows up as a Twain devise)
system - G4 1.25 Mac OS 10.4.5
Epson 610 USB scanner
system profiler shows scanner connected
light is on when opening scanners lid
anyone got any suggestions on cause of the problem
and how to fix it?
