There is a thing called bookmarks. Select each of your headings and
use Insert - Bookmark. Then in your Table of contents, you make
Hyperlinks to each of the bookmarks. I'll send you a cut down
example off-list.

Hi folks,
Someone out there might have a suggestion for me. I have a MS word document
of almost 30 pages. It has about 80 paragraphs with headings.
I have a list of the headings at the top and want to be able to click on one
of the headings and have the document open up at that page rather than
search through the whole document. Similar to a web-page.
Is there a way of doing this?
Am using MS 2004.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Lloyd
