Thanks Severin,
DivX didn't really do what I wanted, so I found that a combination of
MactheRipper (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/
22715) and ffmpeg (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/
15473) did the trick for me.
Cheers,

Nathan, go to the DIVX site http://www.divx.com and get the
DIVX 6.5 for Mac download. $US 20 gets you what you want I think.
Best wishes

Hi All,
Anyone know of any DVD -> DivX utilities out there? I've just
bought a few new DVDs and a Lacie Lego-brick HDD, it would be nice
to start backing my DVDs up to DivX.
Cheers!
