And to add, if you don't have a video out solution, look at getting a
hard drive case with AV out.  I have a Aivx drive (from Dan, who else!)
which has a ton of different outputs.  So you could have a drive filled
with tv shows and video from the EyeTV, then watch them later on the
Aivx box connected to your tv.  

Furthermore, the best thing about the Eyetv is that you can edit out ads
and so forth, which is something that you can only do while watching the
broadcast with DVD recorders.

I have both in my house, and find the dvd recorder good for things that
I don't care about the quality.  I can fit 8 hours worth of recording on
to one 4 gig dvd-r, but the quality is around vhs.  For some things,
like rage, I'm not to concerned :-)
