just a heads up ... make sure you remove any USB & firewire drive
devices before running/reboot from the latest OSX 10.4 patch. (10.4.7)
had 7 users call me today saying their machine are flashing the
question mark folder on reboot (no system folder found)... all of
them had iPods or external drives plugged in when the system was
restarted, getting them to remove the external drive/ipod then force
reboot caused the machines to reboot OK
