I have the iMask product and as previously mentioned am more than happy with it. Has withstood regular/heavy use over the past 18 months and still cleans up well. From what I read, current versions are even thicker/better than the one I purchased. Can't offer any experience in direct comparison with iSkin (or other like products) and for all I know they may simply be the same product rebranded. But for 20-odd dollars you can't really go too wrong. They keep the keyboard in pretty much pristine condition as well as helping prevent daily flotsam entering the case. I'd expect at least another 18 months of use from mine, so for $7-8 a year they are a worthwhile "consumable".

I also currently see a Sydney based ebay seller listing the iSkin for $12.95 plus $10 shipping (a 99.9% feedback rating with direct deposit as a payment option). i will forward the link off-list.

Regards, Matt.

Failing that there are a number of retailers who carry these type of
products for much less than $50. eBay, for instance, has such covers
listed for $20-25 including delivery. Try searching for iMask or
iSkin. I bought mine via eBay 18 months ago and it is still in top
condition.

Thanks, only one seller of iSkins there right now and it's not someone I
would ever consider buying from. (Only accepts unsafe payment methods,
way too many "neutral" feedbacks, ebay fee avoidance by inflated
shipping...) I'll keep an eye to see if anything else comes up, though.

I can't find any comparative reviews of the iMask and iSkin. Can anyone
comment?
