Hi Roger,
Epson printers are excellent whilst they work, but be aware that if
the jets
gets clogged and cannot be cleaned it will cost you a replacement
printer!!
I have had 3 Epson printers now and all of them totally useless
even after
having taken them to the service people. The advice was buy a new
printer as
the repairs will cost you more! My last Epson was not even 3 years
old and
still looks new. Besides I had a stock of very, very expensive inks
which I
had to throw away.
We have a lovely Epson Stylus Photo RX510 multi scan-print-
photocopier which my wife Elaine particularly is using to copy many
of my late father's photos and slides.
We've just about run out of ink and a quick reconnaisance of Harvey
Norman and Mitchell and Brown up here in Sunny Gero, have cartridges
priced from $19.95 to $24.95 each. Now there are 6 of them so that
means a minimum of ~$120. (Part Numbers T0491 - T0496)
I'm not keen on refills or non-genuine replacements unless I can be
assured that there is NO quality difference.
Can you, or anyone on WAMUG, suggest a cheaper reliable source of
cartridges. Reputable online ordering is Ok.

Reg
