Hi Reg,

I seem to remember that either Office Works or Harris Technologies had some
Epsom inks at around $12.00 each, but do not know whether it is the TO491
series. 

Like you I have always used only Epson inks, so cannot recommend other
brands.  I just wish Epson would make their print heads really serviceable,
and at a reasonable price. I just love their scanners, my CX5300 is now used
as a 'big' scanner!!

I'm sure there will be someone with some good alternative.
