Actually there's a good question here (as I'll be ordering tomorrow).

The question : Is the performance hit with the 4500rpm 200Gb drive worth bearing with as opposed to getting 160Gb at a faster rate?

I've got a 160Gb in my old 17" but half my ram died at the same time so I was unable to see how much faster it was. (And it was a motherboard problem so I just had to limp along with 512Mb ram). I'm tired of painfully slow performance in a laptop (unless you're doing video work with an external hard drive using FW800).

Of course the 160Gb is almost full :-)
