I was lucky enough to get one of the last ports in Canning Vale, otherwise was also going to be in the same boat and not be able to get it. Also to test your speed I find using Internet Explorer with iinets ftp site helps show the speed a lot better. <ftp://ftp.iinet.net.au/> That gives you an idea of what you can download at. I know find I am able to get about 450k/sec. So not the best,...but certainly still good. You may find it's just one of those things that although you can't get it now,..at least you know the hardware is there (or almost there), so that some where down the track you may get the better speed! :o) Not a perfect answer, but I hope it helps.
