As I remember , there are zip files and again Zip files .
Zip files made with stuffit may not be the same as some other Zip
files .
like those that come from a PC .
Now this is all by memory ... I cannot find the relevant info in my
own library ,
and the .... WAMUG ARCHIVES .... are NOT accessible at the moment .
Recently ,they were found at :-
<http://wamug.org.au:8100/Lists/wamug/List.html>
but that does not load for me today

I am trying to send a Word document template file to someone with a
PC and an omninet address. It keeps coming back saying that they
will only let through files with a .zip extension.
Notwithstanding creating a .zip archive and deleting the .dot
extension before zipping it still keeps being rejected. Any
thoughts on this?
