In my office we have a server (that I own !) running Windows 2000
which I do not have any administration access (due to our inflexible
IT department).
This server runs Windows 2000 on which I have a user account that
requires changing the password every 30 days.
When I want to access the server (simply to copy data onto the
drive), I can do so with my Mac as long as I update the password
using one of the "locked down" workstations every 30 days.
The question is, is there any software that I can install on the Mac
that will enable me to change the password every 30 days without
using one of the workstations ?
I was considering buying Macs to totally replace the Windows
workstations however this appears a major hurdle. Can anybody lead me
in the right direction ?
Thx
