well how long is that string!! we have had some iMacs fail after a week or two and we have had some that have never been turned off in 3 years!!
I have a B&W G3 thats has been running 24/7 for 4 years. This is not question that can be answered really, I have had brand new G5's fail after an hour due to hard drive problems and others of the same batch that have been fine since installed.
