I can also boast about an LC 575 (bought in 1995) which I gave to my
grandchildren five years ago.
Until Xmas 2005 this was their only computer & although they have
never had an internet connection on it, it has been & is still being
used continuously for games as well as education on CDs.
I can assure you that children aged between 10 & 4 years are not that
careful so besides an odd reinstallation of the system it has been a
wonderful machine.
The only repair that has been necessary was to the monitor.
I hope my G3 keeps going as long.
