ZIP files

I continue to have problems sending zipped files to other users,  
especially less computer literate Windows adherents.
Create Archive from the Finder File menu and Drop Stuff create  
different types of zip file it seems.  I am now finding that  
CleanArchiver gives the least hassle.  I am annoyed at not being able  
to use the Finder "zipper".  All attachments are of course sent as  
"Windows Friendly".
