I have run Disk Utility on my iMac and this was the message I

"Volume header needs repair.
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error - The underlying task reported failure to exit.
1 HFS Volume checked. Volume needs repair."
Does this mean my Hard Disk needs to be replaced? Can a HD be
"repaired"?
Or
Does it mean I should re-install the OS?
Disk Warrior says much the same. It cannot repair it.
There are no obvious symptoms of impending disaster but I have
backed-up
everything.
