I'm looking for a program that will allow me to dictate to the
computer and have it type the text.
Advice from people who successfully use such programs would be
greatly appreciated.

I suppose depending on what you want to use, but David Pogue on this
TED address uses voice to reply to emails - My guess he is in
entourage on a PC?
