I need to upgrade my barely adequate 160 Gb SATA drive in my 20" G5
iMac (early model).
I like the 500 Gb SATA II Seagate drives for price, reliability,
warranty (5 years), speed and reported low noise.
Are there any compatibility or other issues I should be aware of
and do any members have experience with these drives?
Thanks,

The one thing always that you need to be conscious of is the Startup
current of the drive you intend to use . Will the power supply of
the Mac you will instal it into supply that ?
With a Tower you can expect the Power supply to handle more than one
HD ,
and hence just one enlarged HD would not be expected to be a problem
but an iMac ? ???
